Calcium
Our Calcium is a product that is like basic calcium product competitors except it's carbon-based and not chloride based. Calcium chloride can be detrimental to soils. While calcium chloride may be cheaper, it's not as efficient. Having a surfactant helps the efficiency, by moving through the soil profile while opening the soil for better aeration and water movement. This is beneficial for plant uptake and growth.
Calcium is great for agriculture & ornamental crops, athletic fields, golf courses, residential or commercial lawns/gardens. This is high in available calcium to improve plant growth with balanced nutrition. Calcium prevents tie-ups in soil because these nutrients are protected and will not lock-up in soils. It works to improve soil structure, prevent and treat soil conditions that are limited in water infiltration. Improves calcium uptake & reduces surface tension of water, allowing the soil to drain.
Mixing Instructions
In a 5-gallon bucket, fill about halfway with water. Add in your rates of each product (1 product per bucket). Mix well. A drill with a paddle/paint mixer bit works the best. Add mixture to sprayer and dilute even more (at least 10gal of water per one gallon of Calcium)
Application Instructions
Calcium should be mixed with at least 10 gallons of water. We do not recommend letting the solution sit for an extended amount of time. Rinse out your sprayer with water when you are done spraying. It is also recommended that you remove all filters from your sprayer.
Generic Rates without recommendations or a soil sample: 1-2 quarts per acre
(we recommend getting your soil tested for more accurate & plot specific rates)
